Since medical assistants interact with the public, usually before being diagnosed by physicians, most successful medical assistants with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, perfect grooming and well-mannered disposition move up the profession ladder. Being able to explain physician's diagnosis and care procedures in a clear and simple manner is a great asset for the job. Furthermore, an excellent analytical skill with visual insight and the self-discipline to keep client's medical data in the strictest confidence are most wanted qualities for a medical assistant.
