Switch to non-carbonated beverages. Decaf tea or coffee are good choices that many can enjoy, but water is better. There are a variety of waters in all flavors that are quite good and good for you. Herbal tea is another good selection. It's definitely wise to experiment with the assorted foods you eat to determine which foods are troublemakers for you. Each person reacts to particular foods differently. By controlling your portion size and eating high acid foods cautiously, you should be able to stick to an acid reflux diet without major inconvenience.
